My god. I would love that.
Granted, the 3.8 and the 3 speed has to go, but it’s already set up for a clutch, so a 5.0 5 speed swap should be fairly easy.
Who wouldn’t want a blue Foxbody wagon?

at first I was like “an ‘83 with a 3-speed manual?”
then I was like “oh, Mexico.”

Interesting car, showing the differences between USDM and Mexico models. I am not sure if there was even a USDM Fairmont wagon in 83, as I think it was replaced in name by the small LTD, and the grille seems different from a USDM car (maybe a Mercury Zephyr grille, a premonition of the upcoming Mexican Ford Topaz). This also shows how spartan the Fairmont seemed inside, look at those gauges. I like how something from 1983 has “antique” plates too.

Duraspark 3.8?
Hell to the no.
